CWTON (Central Register of Short-Term Accommodation) is a mandatory register introduced by EU Regulation 2024/1028. Every host offering short-term rentals on Airbnb, Booking.com, or similar platforms must obtain a CWTON number before May 20, 2026. Without it, platforms are required to remove your listing. Registration is done online through the government system. The HostReady package includes a step-by-step guide: how to create an account, what data to provide, how to fill in the form, and what to do after receiving your number.
